Robert W. Bruedle, Sr., 81, of Kings Hwy died on January 16, 2026, at home with his wife and dog.
He was born on August 8, 1944 in Haverhill, MA; the son of Edmund H. and Ruth (Packer) Bruedle.
Robert's story began in Haverhill, MA where he was raised and more importantly, married the love of his life, Sandra in 1962. Together they built a family, a business and a legacy of laughter. They moved from Haverhill in 1976 to Middleton, NH, building their family business of S&B Blueberries. Shortly after, Robert started his company of Triple B's Chipping & Excavating in 1982. Throughout his life, he proved himself to be a man of many trades, including serving for several years as a town selectman. Later in life he even found a passion for beekeeping. Known for his ability to spin a tale, lend a hand or pull a prank, Robert was the kind of person who could befriend anyone—be it a neighbor, a honeybee, or a passerby. He was a proud father that cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren -each of whom inherited at least a little bit of his stubbornness and sense of humor.
Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sandra Emery. He leaves behind four daughters: Robin Bruedle and her lifelong friend Eileen Fortier of Rochester, NH; Darlene Bruedle of Middleton, NH; Karen Kennepohl and her husband DJ Kennepohl of Pittsfield, NH; and Suzanne Decato and her husband Adam Decato of Belmont, NH. Robert was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Robert W. Bruedle, Jr.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Friends and family may call from 4:30-6:00 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street Farmington, NH.
A Celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later time.
