Rita J. Gray, age 92, a resident of Rochester Manor, passed away there, peacefully on June 30, 2024.

Born June 12, 1932 in Rochester, NH a daughter of Harry & Irene (Woodman) King, Sr., she previously resided in New Durham, NH and in Milton, NH, before moving back to Rochester, NH.

In earlier years, she had worked at the former Dot's Lunch in New Durham.

Rita especially loved her animals, while living on the farm at Old Wakefield Road in Milton.

While residing at Rochester Manor, she loved playing games, including BINGO.

Widow of the late William A. Gray, she is survived by their 5 children: Joyce A. Carey, Brian Gray, Calvin Gray, Arnold Gray and Gary Gray, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sister Cynthia King, brother Stanley Gray, also many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by sons: Glen, Albert and Sammy Gray, also several siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior from 10-11am.  A time of reception will follow the service at 14 Phillips Ways, Rochester, NH.  Urn interment will be later at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
