Richard "Dick" A. York age 86, of Stonewall Drive in Farmington, died on November 14, 2021 at home of a natural cause.

Born in Rome, NY on October 2, 1935. He was raised in Vernon, NY. Formerly of Milton, NH, Dover, NH, Orrington, ME.

A Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Korean War.

Dick worked as a machinist for Fall Machine in Rochester, NH and he had also worked as an RV Mechanic at Ray's Marina and RV in Milton, NH.

A member of the VFW. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing in kayaks on Brewer Lake with his daughter Debra, and playing his electric guitar, he played in many bands. He played with Tina Turner in a club in Boston, Johnnie Cash, and Jemie C. Reily (when her guitarist didn't show up.) He loved to play with his oldest son Richard up until he passed, they shared the love of the ventures.

Survived by 4 sons: Richard "Ricky" York, Jr. and wife Charlene, Russell York and wife Wanda, Gerald "Gerry" York, Gary York and wife Cindy, 2 daughters: Diana Fraily, Debra A. Spencer and husband Pete, several siblings, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years Florence May Pratt and 2 sons Randy York and Robert York.

A Celebration of Dick's Life will be held on Saturday November 20, 2021, 2pm at the home of Debra, Pete, and Diana, 20 Stonewall Drive in Farmington, NH. Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home. To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
