EAST WAKEFIELD — Richard C. Wiedeman, 52, of Province Lake Road, died at his home May 8, 2010.

Born in Needham, Mass., on Aug. 4, 1957, the son of the late Frederick E. and Marguerite E. (Gilliland) Wiedeman Sr., he was raised in Dover, Mass., and moved to East Wakefield, N.H. with his family many years ago.

Richard worked for Ossipee Aggregates, having progressed through several different positions, including the role of scale master that he held at the time of his death.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richard also enjoyed gardening, landscaping and working on several home improvement projects.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard F. and Rebecca M. Wiedeman of Dover; his fiancee, Kathy J. Clark of Franklin, N.H.; two brothers, Frederick E. Wiedeman Jr. of Medway, Maine, and Robert C. Wiedeman of East Wakefield; one sister, Gail Garland of Sanbornville, and two nieces, Tina L. Glidden of Sanbornville, and Amy Garland-Anderson of Fayetteville, N.C.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, at the Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road, in Sanbornville. To express online condolences please visit www.peasleefuneralhome.com .
