Richard A. Weimert, age 60, of Mt. Vernon Street in Farmington, died unexpectedly April 18, 2017.

Born January 10, 1957 in Brockton, Massachusetts, a son of Raymond A. and Phyllis F. (Manley) Weimert, he resided there for many years and lived in Farmington, NH since 1989.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

A graduate of Brockton High School and East Coast Aero Tech, he was employed as an Aircraft Mechanic with Pan Am and for the past 27 years with UPS.

Rick loved fly-fishing, hunting, and there wasn't a thing he couldn't fix. He especially enjoyed boating with his family on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Survived by his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth (Landry) Weimert, and their 3 children: Daniel A. Weimert, Thomas R. Weimert, Elizabeth A. Day; son-in-law Warren P. Day and grandson Theodore P. Day, his mother Phyllis Weimert, 2 brothers: Ronald Weimert and Stephen Weimert, his sister Nancy Leonard, mother-in-law Mary E. Landry, 2 sister-in-laws: Marie and husband Michael Katz, Mary Ellen and husband Alan Spence, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father-in-law Lawrence S. Landry Jr., and sister-in-law Carol Anne Engman.

Private services will be held at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH.
