Richard (Rick) Rodney, age 58, of Acton, Maine, passed away on September 9, 2023 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital of Lung Cancer.

Rick was born in Annapolis, Maryland, later moved to NH, most recently of Acton, Maine.   Predeceased by parents George Rodney, Sharon Cole and brother Ronald Rodney.  Rick leaves behind his loving wife LuAnn, son Danny and grandchildren Brooklyn Rose and Owen Richard along with Rick's sister Denise and brother Mark and many nieces and nephews. Their dog Georgia and cats Nimba and Pumba who Rick taught to give paw for treats.

Rick was an avid hunter and loved anything fast and enjoyed many weekends snowmobiling in Errol, NH with son Danny, brother-in-law Lance and other family and close friends.  Some of his prized possessions were his 1969 Camaro and his Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He and wife LuAnn enjoyed may outings riding together.  Most recently camping with their dog Georgia and dear friends Kate and Dan on their property in Maine and attending mud runs at the 4x4 Proving Grounds in Lebanon.

Rick enjoyed surprising people.  One such surprise being his proposal and elopement with wife LuAnn while on vacation in Florida.  Also as recent as a couple weeks ago pranking and joking with the nurses at WDH. He enjoyed making people laugh.  Rick will be greatly missed and will be remembered for his laughter, beautiful blue eyes and his caring and loving personality.
