Richard M. Jones, age 83, of Farmington, died December 11, 2020 at Birch Healthcare in Rochester.

Born June 13, 1937 in Manchester, Connecticut, son of Ernest Milton Jones and Doris (Price) Jones, he was raised in Connecticut and resided in Farmington, NH since 1968.

Richard was a Finish Carpenter/Cabinet maker all his life.  For many years he was self-employed but prior to retirement, Richard did wood working for the Union Telephone Company of Farmington.

He enjoyed scuba diving, water skiing, sailing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, spending time with his grandchildren playing mini golf in Alton Bay and getting ice cream, time spent with his family in Colebrook and cottage on Crystal Lake in Gilmanton Ironworks.

Survived by his wife of 52 years Natalie M. (Glidden) Jones, children: Fern and husband William Brennan, Lisa Tarmey and fiancé Shawn Linscott, Ernest and wife Tina Jones, David and wife Erica Jones, grandchildren: Travis Hunt, Tiffany Kennedy, Amber Day, Hayden Jones, Nate Linscott, Michael Linscott, Alizabeth M. Jones, Christian Jones, Ernest M. Jones II, Grace M. Jones and Ryan Jones, 7 great grandchildren, a brother Donald and wife Sandra Jones, also many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents, a brother Lawrence Jones, 2 children: Lance Tarmey and Jody Tarmey.
