Richard D. Hart, age 81, of Charles Street in Farmington, died peacefully at home, April 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a lifelong resident of Farmington. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a sales representative with National Biscuit Company.
Richard loved the outdoors, especially hunting and spending time with family (up camp) in Magalloway, Maine. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty (Silvia) Hart. Two children: son Michael (and wife Julia Hart), daughter Lisa Hart, granddaughter Amber (and husband Seth Malone), grandson Zachary Hart. Also, four great grandchildren: Serena, Anna, Elsie and Jack, a sister Gloria Pierce, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings: Donald Hart Jr., Robert Hart and Mildreth Pike.
A Graveside Service will be held later in the spring. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to: Cornerstone VNA/Hospice, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867. Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.
