Richard "Grampy" Hansen of Milton Mills, New Hampshire passed away on March 15 ^th , 2021 in Rochester, New Hampshire. Richard was born in Algona, Iowa to Arlene Leone Pilcher and Roy Andrew Hansen on February 14 ^th , 1931. He married Shirley "Nonnie" Barthelemy in 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. They had 3 children together Laura, Byron and Gerry. He served in the Navy and then worked as a machinist at Spaulding Fiber and Simplex. He and Shirley were married for 47 years until her untimely death in 1999. He found love for a second time with Peggy who remained by his side until his passing. He enjoyed many things in life including his dogs, gardening, reading, kayaking, fishing, music but most of all his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, his father, his wife Shirley and his brother Harry. He is survived by wife Peggy, sister Linda, daughter Laura, son Byron and wife Darlene, son Gerry and wife Selina, step daughters Laurie and husband Gary, Barbara and husband Bernie, Leigh and wife Jess; Grandchildren Denise, Ricky, Joe, Kelly, Aimee, Adrian, Jesse, Michael, Stuart, Jack, Brandon, Shane, Dominick, Kayden, Brian, Aleecia, Izzy; Great Grandchildren Katie, Dylan, Sabrina, Fay and Ada; and three great, great grandchildren Lila, Maci and Skyler. At Grampy's request there will be no service. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
