RICHARD C. ZARSE, 81, of Merrimack, NH and Sarasota FL passed away on
November 26, 2011 at an Emeritus assisted living community in Sarasota.
He was born and raised in Winchester MA on September 24, 1930, the son
of Clarence H. Zarse and Hilda (Bourne) Zarse. Richard was a 1949
graduate of the Browne and Nichols School, a 1953 graduate of Norwich
University, and was commissioned into the US Army, serving as a First
Lieutenant during the Korean War.

Richard was President of the Heil Equipment Company of Boston for 11
years and a partner at C. M. Mixer Real Estate/Insurance firm in
Wolfeboro, NH for 7 years. He was with the Nordblom Company in Boston,
a commercial and industrial real estate firm, for over 25 years, serving
as a Vice President, before retiring in 2000.

Richard was very active during his career, serving as a director for the
National Truck Body and Equipment Association., the National Association
of Realtors, the Lakes Region Board of Realtors, the Massachusetts
Association of Realtors, and the Greater Boston Board of Realtors. He
also was a member of the Wakefield NH Planning Board and a Trustee of
the Gafney Memorial Library

Richard is survived by his son Gary and his wife Cynthia of Sarasota,
FL, his son David and wife Rae Ann of Sahaurita, AZ, his daughter Anne
Cobb and her husband Richard of Oakdale, TN, his brother Robert Bourne
Zarse of Elon, NC, a graduate of Norwich class of 1956, eight
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his
son John Richard Zarse in 2008 and his ex-wife of 21 years Patricia in 2007.

A family memorial service with military honors will be held on May 30 at
1pm at the Peaslee Funeral Home in Sanbornville, NH.
