Ralph M Winslow Jr, 64 of 421 Main Street Union, NH died April 15, 2017,at home, after a long period of failing health.
Born December 27, 1952 in Portland Maine, the son of Ralph and Elizabeth (Sundgren) Winslow, he graduated from Falmouth High School, received his bachelors degree in horticulture from the University of Maine at Orono and went on to complete his masters in landscape architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Ralph began his career as a landscape architect working for a small prestigious firm in The Old Port in Portland, Maine. In 1987 he moved to New Hampshire and subsequently began his employment with the University of New Hampshire as the Agricultural Specialist for Cooperative Extension in Belknap County. A position he held until his failing health forced him into retirement
He is survived by his partner and friend of 31 years Stuart Pease of Union and Farmington NH, his Mother of Portland Maine and his four siblings, Diane, Mark and wife Kim, John and wife Karen, Lee and wife Sandy, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Ralph M Winslow Sr. and a nephew Jesse Caron.
Services: His ashes will be interred later this spring in two locations: With his maternal Grandmother Edna Dunn in North Windham Maine and at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington, NH.
