Ralph W. Pugh, Jr., died Thursday, October 25th at Mountain View Community, after a period of failing health.
Ralph (known by friends as "Sonny") was born in Milton, NH on May 5, 1940, the son of Ralph W. and Rachel (Doe) Pugh. He lived most of his life in Milton, the past few years living at Mountain View Community. He was a graduate of Nute High School, attended UNH and Houghton College. Sonny was a lifelong member of the Grange. He enjoyed gardening and playing the piano.
Predeceased by his niece Kim, who died in 1977, he is survived by his sister Shirley and husband Ken Varney and their sons Ken and Brad, sisters: Betsy Mack and family, Barbara and Brian Chick and their daughters, Kay Cooley and family, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 1:00 pm at United Methodist Church on Meadow Street in Sanbornville, NH with Pastor Mark Whitman, Jr., officiating. Interment will be private at the family cemetery in Milton, NH. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in his memory to: NH Farm Museum, 1305 White Mountain Highway, Milton, NH 03851.
