Phillip Minschwaner, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2020 following a long illness.
Born in Ewing, NJ, on August 8, 1931, he was the son of William and Florence Minschwaner.
He is a graduate of Trenton High School and served in the United States Air Force.
Phil was a self-employed master plumber and electrician both in Trenton, NJ and Wolfeboro, NH where he also owned and operated Kings Pine Lodges. He lived in Farmington, NH since his retirement in 2003.
Phil earned his pilot's license in 1963 and enjoyed flying for almost five decades.
He was best known for his wonderful sense of humor and his love of nature. His favorite activity was raking the beach at sunrise at Kings Pine Lodges.
He is survived by his wife, Gail and son, Neil Minschwaner and his partner Becky Gravis of Sanford, ME, two stepchildren who he lovingly raised: Jennifer Hanson and her husband Thomas, and Darrin Ladd and his wife Sarah all of Boxford, MA, and four grandchildren: Tucker, Oliver, Millan, and Madelyn. Predeceased by four siblings: Elizabeth, Jean, Jacqueline, and Kenneth.
A celebration of Phil's life will be scheduled at a date to be announced later this year. Donations in his memory may be made to Cornerstone VNA and Hospice of Farmington, NH or the Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover, NH.
