Philip James Guptill, age 87 of Center Barnstead, NH peacefully made his journey onward, on February 6, 2022 at his home.

Born in Northwood, NH on April 15, 1934, son of Clyde T. Guptill and Helen (Gerrish) Guptill.  A Coe-Brown graduate, the class of 1952, he was very proud of the baseball championship him and his graduating class held for many years.

A Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a machine gunner in the Korean War, all of which he was immensely proud of and would tell you about any chance he got. Owner and Operator of Philip J. Guptill Crushing Contractor for much of his life, it gave him great happiness to sit atop a mound of earth in his Cat 235 and his Deere 330 chewing on a wad of Redman chewing tobacco.

Phil enjoyed spending time with his Great Grandchildren, mowing his lawn, watching baseball, an avid Cleveland Indians fan and having a beer in the barn with Wilba.

Survived by his son Paul Guptill and life partner Sandy Kane, twin brother Paul Guptill and wife Julie, granddaughter Hailey Guptill Senter and husband Ricky Senter, Jr., 3 great grandchildren Bristol E. Senter, RAS, and Lydia C. Senter, and his beloved cat, Smoke. Predeceased by his daughter Melanie Guptill, sister Leatitia "Juma" Richards, and two brothers Frank Guptill and Pete Guptill.

As you read this, make sure to take an extra sip of that beer for him, and if it's a PBR, even better.
