Pauline C. Torr, 82, of Rochester died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Somersworth, New Hampshire on September 18, 1933, she was the daughter of Elsie (Turcotte) and Thomas Perron. They moved to Tacoma, Washington for a time before returning home to settle in New Hampshire. After raising four children, Pauline worked for Wentworth Douglass Hospital in the emergency department for a time before working at Strafford County WIC where she worked for 20 years before retiring. Above all her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Spending time with her husband and family are memories that she treasured most. She was the center of love and joy that her family cherished beyond measure. Her great faith was such a beloved gift and was evident by helping others in times of need. So many lives were touched by her friendship and acts of kindness from the heart.
