Pauline (Hobart) Lefavour, age 88, of Tappan Street in Farmington, died peacefully at home on January 1, 2015.
A native of Somersworth, she was born in Dover on July 17, 1926, the daughter of Paul C. Hobart, D.M.D. and Flora (Dufney) Hobart. A graduate of Somersworth High School and Plymouth Teachers College, now Plymouth State University, she taught for 10 years at Farmington High School.
Making her home in Farmington after her marriage to Robert E. Lefavour, who died in 1982, she served as Town Treasurer for one year, Treasurer for the Goodwin Library and the First Congregational Church for several years.
Survived by her three children: Kimberly Nason and husband Gerald Nason, Jr. of Wakefield, NH, Keith Lefavour of Somersworth and Kyle Lefavour of Farmington, also four grandsons: Joseph DiPrizio, Jr. and wife Michelle DiPrizio, Jonathan DiPrizio, Jeffrey DiPrizio, Sr. and Jarrid Nason, seven great grandchildren: Joseph DiPrizio, III, Brianna DiPrizio, Karlie DiPrizio. Jeffrey DiPrizio, Jr., Kenna DiPrizio, Braylyn DiPrizio and Madison DiPrizio. A sister: Marjorie Lloyd of Pitman, NJ, a brother: Ralph Hobart of Lebanon, Maine, also several nieces and a nephew. A special thanks to Michelle and Kristy for their care given to Pauline.
Calling hours are Sunday January 4, 2015 from 1-3pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a service at 2:30 pm. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to: Interfaith Food Pantry at First Congregational Church, Farmington, NH 03835.
