Obituary

Pauline F. (Gillon) Campbell, 84 of Milton, NH and Palmetto, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 after a brief illness.  She was born in Lynn, MA on December 8, 1935 daughter of John Gillon and Dorothy (Bishop) Peterson.

She married the love of her life, Bruce H. Campbell, in 1972 and they spent the next 47 years travelling the world, and enjoying many cruises.  Pauline was a talented seamstress, enjoyed knitting, beading, crossword puzzles, reading and Bingo with her friends in Florida.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She set the example as a hard worker that never complained.

She attended St. Chretienne Academy in Salem, MA; Lynn English High School and Salem Hospital School of Nursing and went on to work with children at Boston Floating Hospital.  She was so proud to see her daughter Colleen, and granddaughters Kristie and Mallory become nurses.  She is survived by her husband Bruce and two daughters: Karen Anderson and her husband Laurance of Hampton Falls, NH and Colleen Vernon and her husband Mark of Lincoln, Nebraska;  her brother Skip Peterson and his wife Nina of Fremont, NH; Grandchildren Kristie (Anderson) Carrigan, Heidi (Anderson) Trafton, Mallory (Anderson) Tonner, Dawn (Vernon) Havlat, and Derek Vernon; and great grandchildren Alex &  Avery Carrigan; Preston, Liam and Stella Havlat; Aibreanne Vernon; Liam and Grace Trafton; and Leah and Piper Tonner.  Nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her infant daughter Mary and her sister Dorothy Collins.

A Memorial Service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street,  Farmington, NH 03835.
