Paula Fuller, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2023. Paula was born on February 24, 1956, in Lowell, MA, and spent most of her life in Alton, NH, where she and her husband Mark Fuller raised their family. They initially resided in New Durham until 1995 when they built their new home in Alton.
Paula's professional journey began as a school bus driver, following in her father's footsteps. She later transitioned to a career in real estate before venturing into her own upholstery business. Subsequently, she delved into banking and returned to real estate before establishing her own successful venture named Stitches and Ink, LLC. A true self-starter, Paula taught herself various crafts of the trade, including embroidery and screen printing.
Beyond her work, Paula found joy in gardening, cultivating a bountiful collection of vegetables and flowers. Her two beloved dogs, Sugar and Ruthie, were faithful companions during her work hours. Among her many talents, Paula was renowned for her culinary skills, impressing her loved ones with holiday feasts and birthday celebrations.
Paula is survived by her husband, Mark Fuller, and her children, Keith Fuller and his wife Laura Fuller, Brian Fuller and his significant other Amie Legere, and Leann McLaughlin and her husband Matthew McLaughlin. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Mason, Avery, Kayla, and Mack. Additionally, Paula is survived by her brother Micheal Thumm and his wife Patricia Thumm. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Pauline Thumm.
A graveside service in memory of Paula will take place at the New Riverside Cemetery, located at 124 Suncook Valley Highway in Alton, on Friday, July 28, 2023, commencing at 10:30 am. Following the service, a celebration of her life will be held at the American Legion, 164 Wolfeboro Highway, Alton.
