Paul G. Cole "Sparky", age 77 of Daffodil Lane, Rochester, died February 10, 2012 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born January 3, 1935 in Burke, Vermont the son the late Gordon and Alice (Bissell) Cole, he was raised and lived in Massachusetts for many years. Paul has resided in Rochester for over 45 years.
He retired from Pike Industries working as a welder-equipment repair and operator for many of their plants. Also had worked as a welder for Worcester Tank and Fedco Tanks.
"Sparky" was a member of the Rochester American Legion, Rochester Elks. He had enjoyed Stock Car Racing at the Westboro, MA Speedway, Playing cards, going up north to Errol for the first race weekend, Saturday breakfast at the Pink Cadillac with the "Boys", an avid Nascar Fan, his favorites being Bill Elliot and Kasey Kahne.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years: Sharon E. (Downs) Cole of Rochester, 5 Daughters: Shelly A. Henderson of W. Boylston, MA, Paulette C. Marrama of Charlton, MA, Gail M. Philbrook of Fitchburg, MA, Anita A. Nideur of Fitchburg, MA, Denise M. Herbert of Milton, NH 3 Sons: Ronald W. Mason of Rochester, Richard W Rodney of Acton, ME, Mark A. Rodney of Rochester, 1 brother: Dave Cole of Worcester, MA, 2 Sisters: Marilyn Burke of Brooksville, FL, Dot E. Tandy of Franklin, NH, 16 Grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren, 1 aunt, several cousins.
