Paul Wesley Nelson, Sr., age 73, of Church Street in Milton Mills, died December 12, 2011, at home.
He was born April 9, 1938 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, the son of William Henry and Rose Marie (Hauser) Nelson. Paul resided in Milton Mills since 2004, having previously lived in many different locations, while serving thirty years with the United States Air Force, he retired a Chief Master Sergeant and was veteran of the Vietnam War.
Most recently, he was employed as Auxiliary Postal Clerk at the Milton Mills Post Office.
Survived by his wife of 51 years: Waneta (Howes) Nelson and a son: Paul W. Nelson, Jr., both of Milton Mills, a daughter: Kirstin and husband Christopher Crossland of Nashua, 3 sisters: Shirley Bray, Kathleen Shafer and Patricia Roever, a brother: Larry Nelson, also many Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by siblings: Robert Nelson and Richard Nelson, Joan Schupe and Elaine Townsend.
As per his request, there are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass.
