Obituary

Patricia Ann Belanger
August 16, 1954 - February 7, 2022

In her home she spent her last days, peaceful and at rest...
Till she headed home to Heaven, Cancer always takes the best.

Beloved wife and mother, sister, and best friend...
God shared a special person, who's memory will transend.

Born to a military family, of Joseph and Louise Julian, in Bangor Maine 1954...
She often recalled Air Force travels from NH to ME, and even England for a 3 year tour.

Of all her childhood memories, she reminisced of camping the most...
Jackman Maine, weekends camping, and she loved how campfires burnt her toast.

Glenda and Pumpkin are her two sisters, and Mit a brother...
They're more than just siblings, they are great friends who enjoy one another.

Her family moved to NH, where she met and married her high school sweet heart in 1972...
Leo Belanger also joined the Air Force, and overseas to the Phillipines they flew.

Clark Air Force Base adventures, good times, new family, and life long friends...
Connections maintained year after year, the kind that do not end.

Jeffrey born at Clark, was the first of two children to come...
Next came Lori in New Hampshire, when their military time was done.

She lived her life in the Granite State, a lover of changing seasons...
Capturing the beauty of snow through her camera lense, but always anticipated spring for obvious reasons.

Summer for Patty meant beautiful Gardens, flowers and veggies galore...
Perennials, peas and lettuce, huge zucchini for her relish we all adore.

Her favorite hobby was painting, a paintbrush was always near...
Glass, old boards, bark and garage doors; or family Santas on Canvas brought seasonal cheer.

Her creativity was a hobby trove of treasures, her craft room simply could not hold any more...
If ever you needed something, it was sure to be in her "Hardware Store".

Often a vendor at a craft fair, and also a shopper for fun...
Her hobbies and career often intertwined, sometime both as one.

Careers in retail down to the tiny detail; she had her own gift shop too...
In later years she took pride, cleaning for clients on the side, and friends they often grew.

Patty loved the color green in every shade, but bright chartreuse she liked best...
Her clothes, her art, her yard, her home, green stood above the rest.

She published a book of silly prose, and created a whimsical brand...
Im On Pause, was a passion for her, menopause turned to a laugh in your hand.

Her beautiful hair full of wavy locks, golden perfection most would agree...
And always peeking out from underneath, huge hoop earrings of filigree.

She always enjoyed the colors of fall, when the summer heat had passed...
A trip to leaf peep, grab scallops from the deep, and a motorcycle ride at last.

Coast to coast, she loved traveling the road, with her favorite man...
Always with a smile, together mile after mile, by truck or car or Van.

Patty and Leo, together they did it all...
Many adventures through all the weather, married 50 years this fall.

Five grandchildren ages twenty to three, from heaven she will always be...
Their "You Are My Sunshine" singing Bubbee.

An Aunt to many, and cousins the same...
Many on Earth who behind will remain.

A celebration of life in warmer weather, was her final say...
So this summer we will honor that; "I'm gonna do it my way!"

Many mention her smile, and how she lit up a room with cheer...
It's no wonder she was perfect for Heaven, and God wanted her near.
