Obituary

SANBORNVILLE, NH – Pamela J. Ginter, 70, passed away with her husband and children by her side after a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer.

Born December 23, 1948 in Granville, New York she was the daughter of the late Idwal and Helen (Warren) Jones. The youngest, and wildest, of five children and a 1967 graduate of Poultney High School in Poultney, VT.

Pammie is survived and will be deeply missed by her best friend and adoring husband of 46 years, Charles Ginter or "Chuckie" as she lovingly referred him. Her children, Christopher Ginter of Wolfeboro, NH and his daughter, Ashley Ginter. Erin Ginter and her partner Kevin Pike of Wakefield, NH and Kate (Ginter) Cameron and her husband Steven Cameron of Somersworth, NH along with their son Logan Cameron who was her pride and joy since being born in 2018, she loved being his Grammy more than anything. She also leaves behind her beloved puppy Lola and grand-puppy Cooper, both of whom she loved as much as the humans in her life, as well as several nieces and nephews who she loved like her own children. Pam is predeceased by her parents Idwal and Helen Jones and siblings Chet Jones, Lloyd Jones, Ben Jones and Patricia Roberts. Also, her best pal of 18 years, Ozzie, her miniature schnauzer. We are comforted knowing they are all together again after so many years.

Pam worked in the medical field for many years within Wentworth Douglass and beyond where she made many wonderful friends. After she retired she enjoyed volunteering her time to being a call leader for Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign in Wolfeboro, NH.

Pam was always the life of the party. She loved a well-mixed cocktail. Dancing around the kitchen to the Beach Boys or the Rolling Stones while baking one of her many delicious recipes for her family. Being a Parrot Head at Jimmy Buffet during the summer. Yelling at the TV during a nail biter of a Bruins game. Her Bronx Bombers, the New York Yankees, a love she inherited from her father. Bird watching, a hobby she enjoyed sharing with her sister. Swapping new dinner or baking recipes with Erin. Singing and dancing at a country concert with Kate. Traveling with Chuck to some of their favorite destinations, especially Bermuda. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and cooking a big dinner for everyone to enjoy.

Although our time with Pam has been cut short we are all thankful for the memories made with her. There is no doubt that will continue to keep us smiling for years and years to come. If you knew her, you know exactly what we mean.

The Ginter family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Dmytro Havaleshko of Wentworth Douglass, the Seacoast Cancer Center, especially Dr. Sonali Shah and Dr. Henry Sonneborn, Dr. William Hassett of Dover Family Practice and the staff at Massachusetts General Hospital for all their hard work and support during Pam's battle. You will forever be a part of our family. We would also like to express our gratitude to The Hyder House in Dover and its amazing staff for all they did for Pam and our family. You are truly heaven sent, we cannot thank you enough.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH, family and friends are welcome.  A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.  If desired, memorial donations can be made in Pam's memory to the Seacoast Cancer Center or The Hyder House in Dover, NH.
