Norma (Burroughs) Jewett, age 85, of Pineland Park Road, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2022.

Born May 18, 1937 in Rochester, NH, she was the first baby delivered by the late Dr. Samuel King at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Wilfred & Emily (Wallingford) Burroughs.  She was a lifelong resident of Milton, NH, a graduate of Nute High School, Class of 1955.

Becoming totally deaf at the age of 20, she was a very active and hard working person.  She worked for many years at local shoe factories, as a booth trimmer.

She loved the outdoors, beaches, gardening, canning and training her boxer dogs.  A fan of the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots & Boston Red Sox.

Norma was married for 43 years to Clayton G. Jewett, until he passed away in 2015.  She had much love for her large family, survived by 3 sons: Martin Woodbury of Milton, Wesley Woodbury of Rochester & Dana Jewett of Brookfield, 10 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren.  Predeceased by her parents, husband, son Richard Woodbury and son Dwayne Woodbury.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville (Wakefield) NH, with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am.  Interment will follow at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.  To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
