Neil W. Carswell, age 59, of Heath Road, Wakefield, died May 18, 2012 at Catholic Medical Center Medical Center in Manchester after sudden illness.

Born May 16, 1953 in Rochester, NH the son of Fred "Kippy" Carswell and Dorothy (Wilder) Carswell, he resided in Wakefield for 5 years, raised in Milton Mills he attended Nute High School. He also had lived in Union for many years.

A self employed master craftsman-cabinet maker, he had worked for Lakeview Marble and Granite in Sanbornville, Frederick Meyer Masonry and Swings and things in Plaistow.

Neil was known for his free spirit and enjoyed Jazz Music, his cat and dog and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his father: Fred "Kippy E. and wife Diana Carswell of Union, a daughter:Jessie-Mae Ammons- Carswell of Alston, MA, 1 sister: Betty and husband Steven Peterson of Milton, 2 brothers: Robert and wife Delia Carswell of Milton Mills and Brian and wife Lori Carswell of Union, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his mother Dorothy (Wilder) Carswell in 1967, and his sister: Linda Carswell-Amerman in 2011.
