Nancy (Nicky) A. Whitcomb, 80, of Rochester NH, died peacefully on Oct. 29, 2022 at Kirkwood Corners Assisted Living in Lee NH.

Born in Fitchburg, MA, she was the daughter of the late James and Yvonne (Marceau) Jeffrey.

She was a graduate of St. Bernard High School in Fitchburg.

She worked many years at Valley View Elementary School in Farmington until she retired.

She will be remembered as a kind woman that loved her family and friends, she was an avid reader, loved being at the family camp on the lake, going to the beach, going dancing with her friends, and shopping with her granddaughter, Ashley.

Nancy is survived by her children, daughter Lisa Cole, son Chris Freeman both of Rochester NH. Her grandchildren, Ashley (Cole) Chambers, and her husband Jordan Chambers of Dover NH, Jace Freeman and Ari Freeman both of Yardley, PA. Her great-granddaughter, Savannah Chambers of Dover, NH.

Nancy was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth, brother Ronald, nieces and nephews Stacy, Sean and Christina.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Kirkwood Corners in Lee for the excellent care and love shown to Nancy during her time there.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Wentworth Hospice for their kind and compassionate care in her last weeks.
