Monica Ann (Beshaw) Grondin, age 63, was granted her angel wings on May 26, 2013. Monica's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her contagious laugh, and generous heart brought so much joy to her family and friends.

Born in Chazy Vermont on May 7, 1950, her family moved to Farmington NH when she was very young. In her early work life she was employed at the Alton Shoe Company, Mooney's Mill and R.A.M.. After many years, she courageously went back and received her GED. In 1985, she obtained her cosmetology license and later opened her own business "Beauty In Motion". Among the many activities that Monica enjoyed in her lifetime were dancing, crafts, baking and hosting the best parties ever! Her greatest achievements were being a mother and grandmother. Monica enjoyed a unique and special relationship with her grandson Michael. She loved to spend time with him laughing and acting like she was a kid again.

Monica is preceded in death by her parents Geraldine M (Deyo) Beshaw and Fred J. Beshaw of Farmington NH, her husband Sterling L. Grondin SR. of Milton NH, her brother-in-law Frank Staples of Farmington NH and his daughter Marie E. (Staples) Palmer of Wolfeboro Falls NH.

Monica is survived by her Daughter Tricia L. (Grondin) Mougey and her husband Kevin, Tricia's son Michael S. Allfrey of Meredith NH, Sisters Thelma M. Staples of Farmington NH, Ilene Y. Howard of NC, Brother Bruce A. Beshaw and his wife Carol of Farmington NH, Step-Brother Mike Downs of Farmington NH, Step-children Dona D. Plourde and her husband Paul of Farmington NH, Chyrel L. Keefe and Monda O. Thurston of Savannah GA, Sterling L. Grondin Jr and his wife Nancy of Farmington NH. 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life service on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH 03835.
