Obituary

Mitchell A. Park, 55, of Farmington, New Hampshire passed away on July 10, 2013 after a long battle with diabetes.
He was born in Seattle, Washington on October 19, 1957. He was the son of Robert Park and Norma (Glidden) Park of Farmington, New Hampshire.
Mitch graduated from Farmington High School in 1976. During high school and throughout his life he was an avid athlete and loved to play basketball, baseball and golf. He continued to be involved in sports by coaching basketball for the 500 Boys and Girls Club of Farmington for over 20 years and was inducted into their Hall of Fame.
Mitch married his loving wife Bonnie on October 17, 1981 and they had one child Ashley Irene Park. He was a man that was dedicated to his family and loved to watch his daughter play sports. He worked for over 20 years as a lab technician at Davidson Rubber which later became Textron. Mitch enjoyed playing cribbage with his family, summers at Wells Beach, reading about the Civil War and watching the Boston Celtics.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Bonnie (Chesley) Park of Farmington, his daughter Ashley Park of New Durham, his parents Robert and Norma Park of Farmington, his sister Cathie Shepherd and her husband Don Shepherd of Rochester, his brother Michael E. Park and his wife Lisa Park of Farmington, his niece Katrina Call Reible of Illinois and nephew Michael R. Park of Farmington, his mother in law Donna Chesley of Farmington, as well as many more family members and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17th at the First Congregational Church in Farmington, N.H. Calling hours will be from 9-11 in the morning, followed by a memorial service at 11. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the First Congregational Church of Farmington, New Hampshire.
