Miriam C. Wentworth, age 90, of White Mountain Highway in Milton, died December 24, 2012 at the Rochester Manor.
Born December 9, 1922 in Rochester, the daughter of Royal and Zilla (Southard) Corson, she resided in Milton for most of her life. She was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1940.
She was retired, a crew member "Mother" at her family's business, Dunkin Donuts of Rochester.
Miriam was big hearted and giving, she spent much of her married life farming and gardening with her husband Lloyd, whom she also traveled with to one lunger engine shows. She was known for her "famous rolls", she enjoyed housework, reading, puzzles, loved angels and most especially time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Paul N. Wentworth, Sr. and his wife Jeanne Wentworth, 3 grandchilden: Kristina Wentworth, Regina Wentworth-Mondoux and husband Greg Mondoux, Paul N. Wentworth, Jr. and wife Jennifer Wentworth, 4 great grandchildren: Gino and AngeLina DeLuca, Madison Jennifer Wentworth and Bradley Mondoux. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd R. Wentworth in 2011, to whom she was married for 70 years, their son Richard Wentworth and granddaughter Lisa Wentworth Graten.
Calling hours are Friday evening from 5-7 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a funeral service on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Murray Nickerson, officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Milton Mills Cemetery.
