Obituary

Mildred L. Servetas "Millie", age 93, of Mechanic Street in Farmington, died May 14, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family.



Born January 17, 1919 in Rochester, the daughter of LeRoy and Bertha May (Cram) Downs, she was raised there and resided in Farmington for many years.



A homemaker, she was a doll collector for more than 70 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Order of the Eastern Star, a former Grand Officer, member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, The Grange, Farmington Fish and Game Club and the D.A.V.



Widow of the late Nicholas Servetas, Sr., who died in 1998, after over 60 years of marriage, she is survived by their 4 children: Fr. Nickolas Servetas, Jr. and wife Linda of Deposit, New York, Diane and husband Thomas Andrews of Hampton, NH, Debra and husband Steven Carr of Farmington, Charles and wife Theresa Servetas of French Creek, WV, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 daughters: Joanne Servetas and Georgia Servetas Syvinski.



Calling hours are Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at First Congregational Church, Main Street, Farmington, NH with her son Fr. Nickolas Servetas, Jr., officiating.
