Obituary
Michael Joseph Novotny died unexpectedly at his home in Farmington on February 9th at the age of 45.
He was born in New Milford, CT on November 1, 1967, to Richard T. and Helene A. (Lally) Miller. Michael attended Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, and was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Novotny, Jr., and Keith Novotny of Ossipee, as well as his adoptive parents, Barbara Duncan of Mirror Lake, and John Novotny of Shaftsbury, VT. He is also survived by his siblings, Laurie Friedman of Alton, John Novotny, Jr. of Groton, CT, Lisa Muckle of Groton, CT, Sonny Novotny of Granite, and Rick Miller, Jim Miller and John Miller, all of Connecticut. Also, his step-father, James Duncan of Mirror Lake, and step-siblings Scott Duncan of Rutland, MA, Heather Goulden of Kennebunk, ME, and Jameson Duncan of Clinton, ME, as well as many nieces and nephews.
