Michael Freeman,60,of Middleton, NH passed away peacefully, January 10, 2018 surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.
Michael was born in 1957 in Austin, Texas. His father was enlisted in the US Air Force and the family moved several times while Michael was growing up. In the early 1970's the family settled in Dover, NH. Michael attended Dover High School before enlisting in the US Air Force. After his service to his country was concluded he settled in the Middleton, NH area. He was employed by Polar Beverage and Great State Beverage as a driver.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and campfires with his brothers and family on the St. Croix River in Vanceboro, Maine.
Michael is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy Freeman and one sister, Jill Kaichen and her husband Michael of Eliot, Maine, two brothers, Paul Freeman and his wife Cathy of Strafford, NH and Tony Freeman and his wife Shirley of North Hampton, NH and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Faye Freeman of Dover, NH
A celebration of Life Service will be held at Peaslee Funeral Home, Farmington, NH on Sunday, January 14. Calling hours will be 2-4 followed by the service. Burial will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
