Melvin G. Woodman, age 78, of Central Street in Farmington, died May 12, 2015.
Born February 17, 1937 in Farmington, the son of Walter and Doris (Tufts) Woodman, he was a lifelong resident.
He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Melvin established and was the owner of New England Furniture in Farmington.
He loved Farmington sports, attending high school games. He was an avid supporter of the Farmington 500 Boys and Girls Club.
Survived by his 5 sons: Michael and wife Mimi Woodman, Steve Woodman, Bruce Woodman, James Woodman, Daniel and wife Karen Woodman, also many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A special thank you to his caregivers, granddaughters: Jamie and Jessica.
As per his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to: Farmington 500 Boys and Girls Club, PO Box 404, Farmington, NH 03835. Arrangements by Peaslee Funeral Home.
