Matthew Paul Soucy, a 2001 Nute High School graduate, machinist with Spaulding Composites, and resident of Farmington NH, died unexpectedly in his home June 1 ^st , 2021.

Matthew had a heart of gold and a youthful spirit. He was always up for any adventure and lived life without fear. He loved to make people laugh and his wry smile always told a silent story. He will be fondly remembered by his boyhood friends; numerous teachers, community members, and coworkers; as well as a large loving extended family.

Matthew is survived by his mother Elaine J. Prentiss of Milton, NH and her husband Ray, sisters Jennifer Bukowski and her husband Michael and Kimberly Alward and her husband Antonio DeJesus, and brother Jonathan Soucy. He is also survived by grandmother Priscilla Bourassa, of Greenland NH. Matthew leaves behind four adoring nieces and nephews; Annabella, Olivia, Jackson, and Noah as well as stepdaughter Brianna St Jean. Matthew also leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Matthew is predeceased by his father David P. Soucy, uncle David J. Bourassa, brother in law Jason B. Alward, grandfather Frederick H. Bourassa, grandmother Beverly E. Soucy, and grandfather Paul D. Soucy.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday June 10, 2021 from 5-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home on Central St in Farmington NH. An informal ceremony will take place the following day Friday June 11, 2021 at 10am at the same location, with a celebration of life gathering directly to follow.
