Matthew Todd Douglas, age 26, died unexpectedly, April 2, 2021 at home in New Durham.

Born June 20, 1994 in Rochester, NH, son of Bruce James Douglas and Denise M. Laurion, he resided in New Durham, NH, all his life, a graduate of Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, Class of 2012.

His first real job was with AFTC/Tony Ouellette, putting in state road signs with his best friend Mikey and his mom, his favorite job, at Merrymeeting Marina.   Matthew loved fishing with his buddy Mikey, loved wrestling, listening to music and camping too, he enjoyed car shows and loved his dog Bailey.

Survived by his loving family, mother Denise M. Laurion, 2 brothers: Michael J. Douglas, Jason Matthew Douglas and his family Mary and Ellie, grandmothers: Donna Laurion and Arleen Douglas, many aunts, uncles and cousins, including aunt Marcie Whitehouse and uncle Hal Laurion, uncle Arthur B. Douglas, aunt Leah K. Douglas, aunt Kathleen L. Gill, uncle Denzil A. Douglas, uncle Desmond N. Douglas Jr., uncle Gavin A. Douglas, stepmother Karen Douglas, also stepbrothers and stepsisters.  Predeceased by his father Bruce Douglas, and grandfathers: Ed Laurion and Desmond Douglas.

Calling hours are Friday from 5-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, family and friends are welcome.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 12Noon at St. Peter's Church, 88 Central Street, Farmington, NH with Fr. Adrian Frackowiak, as celebrant.  Interment will follow at John Shirley Memorial Cemetery in New Durham.
