Obituary

Farmington, NH

Mason Brooks Tibbetts, (Mae Mae) only a young man at the tender age of 12 years old, passed after succumbing to life threatening injuries while being treated for a sudden DKA. Mason grew up in New England,  mostly in Farmington, NH. He passed at Boston's Children's Hospital suddenly after being transported from the Barbara Bush Children's PICU on March 5th 2024. He passed from heart failure, kidney failure and liver failure at 10pm that day 03/05/2024.

Mason was born on September 17th at 3:36 am while his mother was accompanied by her mother  Mason's grandmother,  Valerie Tibbetts. Mason was born in Portland Maine, at Maine Medical Center.  Mason had a way with Others, he brightened the room with his contagious laughter,  always having great manners, soo empathic and caring he never could hold a grudge. His best friend was Wendell Thompson.  Even though they were a few years apart , they were the best of friends and argued like an old married couple! We had the greatest time having him sleep over and having movie nights, building Lego cities, going to each other's birthdays,  swimming in the lake, playing Minecraft and creating YouTube videos for his YouTube channel called "Freddy's World Productions". They'd use puppets and FNAF plusses, and Mason loved creating his own. He even learned to sew just to do so. Mason loved sculpting clay as well as painting. He strived to perfect his crafts all the time. Even at 12 he had such a kind heart, all he wanted was to just make his momma happy, make sure I knew he loved me (anytime I entered a room…. I love you momma) what I'd give to hear those words. Mason loved life and anything and everything about it. He wanted to become a police officer when old enough and had a great relationship with his schools resource officer, as she would hug him and talk with him every chance they got. She even got him a bigger bicycle as his was getting too small! He was constantly asking questions and I'm soo happy I had the opportunity to homeschool him the past two and a half years to see him grow, wonder, learn and spend time really getting to know my child in so many different ways. He was such a beautiful soul who had sooo much potential,  just for his precious soul to be torn away! One day we'll meet again baby boy, I love and miss you soo!

Mason Brooks Tibbetts is Survived by his oldest brother, Edward John Goodell 3rd, 17 years old. Born in Claremont NH and resides in Farmington NH. Mason idolized his big brother, loved him unconditionally and wanted to be "just like him." His mother, Hope Tibbetts was his primary sole care provider as his biological father chose to sign away his parental rights when Mason was 15 months old. Mason's Grandparents are Gordon and Valerie Tibbetts of Farmington NH. Mason had 4 aunts, Allison Tibbetts (Arizona) , Amy Rodriguez (NH) ,Ira Tibbetts (Texas) & Heidi Tibbetts (NH) and 4 uncles, Jake Tibbetts of Milton NH, Max Tibbetts of Texas, Alex Tibbetts of Farmington and Jon of (NH).
