Marylin D. Covey, age 85, of Sanbornville, died December 12, 2018 at Dover Center for Health and Rehab.

Born March 1, 1933 in Wolfeboro, the daughter of Herbert Leon Drown and Myra Frances (Rourke) Drown, she was a lifelong resident of Sanbornville.

Prior to retirement, Marylin worked as Librarian at the Gafney Library.

She had served as Supervisor of the Checklist for the Town of Wakefield.

Marylin was active with the Senior Citizens in Wakefield and Wolfeboro.  She loved to play BINGO and Whist, she collected postcards and antique minatures, and she loved to read books.

Widow of the late Ernest F. Covey, she is survived by her 2 sons: Kevin H. and wife Teresa Leeman and  Gerald A. Covey, her 3 grandchildren: Eric Leeman, Kristina Holloway and Thomas Leeman, also a great granddaughter Emmalee Leeman.

A Remembrance Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 2-4pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville, NH.  If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
