Mary Alice Monroe, age 65, of Acton Ridge Road in Acton, Maine, died December 15, 2015 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, Maine.
Born March 7, 1950 in Limington, Maine, the daughter of Robert and Harriet (Higgins) Norton, she resided in W. Newfield, Maine, East Wakefield, New Hampshire and Acton, Maine for fifty years.
Retired, she and her late husband Richard S. "Dick" Monroe had owned and operated Dick's Marina on Balch Lake in East Wakefield, New Hampshire.
Survived by her daughter and son in law: Richieanne and Roger Reynolds of Kennebunk, Maine, 2 grandchildren: Branden and Emily, 3 siblings: Roberta Jennings, Launa Minor and Roy Norton, also nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home, 1871 Acton Ridge Road in Acton, Maine on Sunday December 27, 2015 from 2-4 pm. Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.
