Mary J. Langevin, age 94, formerly of Ten Rod Road in Farmington, died June 12, 2014 at Rosewood Manor in Gonic, where she most recently resided.

Born August 14, 1919 in Concord, daughter of John G. and Annie (Mahair) Maltais, she was raised in Laconia, lived in Gilmanton and resided in Farmington since 1944.

A loving homemaker and mother, she was a very helpful person, who never turned anyone away. She enjoyed traveling, reading, was a great cook and especially enjoyed family reunions at the farm.

Widow of the late Oliver N. Langevin, she is survived by their children: Barbara and husband Carl Garland of Farmington, Anita and husband Roland Tremblay of Farmington, Sandra and husband Kenneth "Pete" Dickie of New Durham, Peter and wife Carol Langevin of Turtletown, Tennessee, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son: Richard Langevin, a daughter Patricia Langevin and siblings: Marie Allaire, John Maltais and Joseph Maltais.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, 88 Central Street, Farmington, NH on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00am with Fr. Daniel J. Sinibaldi, pastor as celebrant. Urn interment will be on Saturday at 10:00am at Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield.
