MARY L. DeNAPOLI (Del Vecchio)

Born June 11, 1929, until April 6, 2026. Mary was the oldest daughter of Leonardo and MariaGrazia (Coppola). Mary was predeceased by her brother, Joseph; and her sister, Frances Green resides in Connecticut. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward J. DeNapoli, with whom she had been married for sixty years. Mary also leaves her two children, Joseph L. DeNapoli and his loving wife, Freda, from Quincy, MA; and a daughter, Donna M. Barchard with whom she resided for over fifteen years. Mary’s legacy continues with her grandchildren Ryan E. Barchard and Dr. Adrienne M. Barchard along with her husband, Dr. Brent I Couts. Mary, lovingly known to her great grandchildren as Mamma Non, leaves behind Ian J. Couts, Jonathon E. Barchard and Joana V. Couts.

Mary and her family were long-time residents of Revere, MA, but also resided in Florida and New Hampshire. Mary and Ed loved to travel. She also loved cooking and caring for her family - always had room for one more at her table. Mary was known for her baby blankets. She turned out at least once a week and donated them to everyone. She was also known for her needle point work and was an avid craftsperson. She was known in the past to sew all of the curtains in her home, knit, crochet, needlepoint and taught anyone who wanted or asked to learn.

Donations in Mary’s name may be made to the Cornerstone Hospice in Rochester, New Hampshire, as they lovingly cared for and supported her during her convalescence.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, 11am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA.
