Mary Catherine Bober, age 92 of Watson Fields, Dover, NH formerly of Ridge Road, New Durham NH, died on July 19, 2013.



Born in Salem, Ohio to James V. and Catherine (Loop) Fisher on May 20, 1921, she was a graduate of St. Paul School and Salem High School. Active in the community, she was a past member of the Salem Hospital Auxiliary and past president of the Salem Garden Club. She moved east to Rochester, NH in 1963 and lived in Rochester until building a home in New Durham. In Rochester, she attended St. Mary Church where she was a member of the Parish Council and taught CCD classes. She was past president of Haven Hill Garden Club and a life member Frisbie Hospital Auxiliary.



In New Durham she was a long time member of City Beautification committee and children's Arbor Day Program. She was an avid gardener and a homemaker, always there for her family. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Farmington.



Mary was predeceased by her husband Vincent J. Bober, Sr., children, Mary Catherine and Leslie, in infancy: twin brother, Joseph; brother, James R; sister Martina.

She leaves 2 sons: Vincent J. Bober, II and wife Barbara of Rochester, Edward A. Bober and wife Judith of Rochester; five grandchildren; Cristyn Peters, Vincent Bober, III, Sara Carrier, James Bober and John Bober; 9 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.



Mary's family would like to thank her extended family at Watson Fields for their special care and love.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at St. Peter Church, 88 Central St., Farmington, NH at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel J Sinabaldi, pastor, as celebrant. A calling hour is prior to the Mass, from 8:30 – 9:30 am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Mary Cemetery in Rochester.
