Martha A Kuehl, age 89, of Madbury Road in Durham, NH, died November 25, 2019 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born December 4,1929 in Amsterdam, Holland. She lived her earlier years in Queens, New York, also resided in Salisbury, Maryland and lived the past 20 years in Durham, NH. Martha loved watching Tennis and Soccer and was an avid reader of her many magazines and books. More than anything she loved being with her family whom she was so proud of.

A homemaker and mother, mom was a sassy, feisty, strong willed elegant lady.

Survived by: son, Christopher W. Kuehl and wife Sheila of Middleton, NH, grandchildren: Jennifer and husband Ben Spector, Erik Kuehl, Dr. Maria Kuehl,

Son, Charles W. Kuehl and partner Lori, grandkids: Kendra, Connor, Kevin, Cole.

Brother, Frederick deGrooth and wife Jean, niece Grace and nephew Ricky. She was the widow of Charles William Kuehl and the daughter of Klaas deGrooth and Jacoba (deKlerk) de Grooth.

There was a Celebration of life 12/3/2019 at Baghdad Woods provided by her many friends of her Baghdad Residence in Durham.

Mom is now in heaven with husband, sister, mother and many aunts and uncles.
