Marseilles Eleanor Richardson, age 83, of New Durham, passed away peacefully at home, October 13, 2022, with her loving family.

Born January 22, 1939 in Berwick, Maine, a daughter of Clarence and Almeda (Whitten) Libby, she resided in New Durham for ten years, having previously resided in Barnstead and Farmington, NH.

A loving homemaker and mother, she loved strawberry picking, making piccalilli, gardening, birds, wildlife, the ocean and most especially spending time with her family.

Widow of the late Carleton Richardson, Sr., she is survived by their 6 children:  Mary Ham, Catherine Hamel & husband Walter, Elnor Richardson & fiance' Mike Gorton, Carleton Richardson, Jr. & wife Marie, Erline Perkins & husband Edward and Matthew Richardson & wife Barbara, many Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, Siblings:  Gladys Coffin, Laura Plaisted, Charles Libby, Joanne Rita and Mary Lorenzo, also many Nieces & Nephews and son in law John Carberry  Predeceased by her daughter Donna Lee Carberry and siblings: Francis Libby, David Libby, Clarence Libby, Jr., Ernest Libby and Frank Libby.

A Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH at 11:30am with a visitation from 11-11:30am.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Cornerstone VNA/Hospice, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867.  To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
