Mark Gerard
Goupil
Aug 29, 1949 — Jun 27, 2026
Mark Goupil, 76, passed away suddenly at his home on June 27, 2026.
Mark touched the hearts of all who knew him with his unique personality, kind spirit, and the joy he found in life's everyday moments. He was a genuine man who appreciated life's simple pleasures and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Mark will be especially remembered for the hugs and kisses he greeted everyone with, making each person feel loved and welcomed.
As a young man, Mark worked at a shoe store in Derry, New Hampshire, later at a clothing store, and eventually at his sister's restaurant in Ossipee, New Hampshire. He enjoyed watching classic Westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza, and never missed an opportunity to laugh while watching The Three Stooges. Mark was also a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and looked forward to cheering on his favorite team every season.
For the past 18 years, Mark was lovingly cared for by his niece, Brenda, and her significant other, Stephen. Together, they provided unwavering dedication, compassion, and love, allowing Mark to remain surrounded by family and comfort. Their kindness, patience, and commitment made a tremendous difference in his life, and the special bond they shared with Mark will always be treasured.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his great-nephew, Andrew.
He is lovingly survived by his nieces, Brenda, Cheryl, and Tina; his nephew, Ron; and 29 great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Mark is now at peace. His memory will live on through the love of his family and the many happy moments they shared together. He will always be remembered for his warm heart, gentle spirit, his famous hugs and kisses, and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held at a later date.
