Marilyn E. Nason, age 86, formerly of Wentworth Road in Sanbornville, died September 15, 2016, at Mountain View Community in Ossipee.

Born May 3, 1930 in Milton, daughter of Forest and Gladys (Laskey) French, she was raised there and attended Nute High School. She resided in Sanbornville for many years.

Marilyn was employed at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro for over 30 years, where she had worked as an Emergency Room Technician and a Central Supply Technician.

She loved cooking, watching birds, wildlife, loved her dogs and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Widow of the late Lawrence C. Nason, who died in 1990, she is survived by 2 sons: Michael W. and wife Nancy Nason of Ossipee, Robert A. and wife Judith Nason of Wakefield, 5 grandchildren: Amy Blackwood, Kayla Pitts, Marie Whyte, James Nason and Noel Nason, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her sister Suzanne Perry of Sanbornville, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Bruce R. Nason.

As per her wishes, there are no calling hours. Family and friends are welcome to a funeral service on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville, NH. Interment will follow at Lovell Lake Cemetery.
