Marie Elizabeth (McKeagney) McIntire, age 95, of Milton, died June 26, 2014.
Born December 30, 1918 in Ossipee, NH, the daughter of Patrick and Laura (Gibson) McKeagney, she resided in Milton all of her life, a graduate of Nute High School. She especially loved summertime at camp in Milton.
Prior to retirement, she was a Postal Clerk for many years with the United States Postal Service in Milton.
Marie was a member of the Woman's Club at the Community Church of Milton.
Predeceased by her husband Frank E. McIntire in 1993, she is survived by their 3 sons: Walter G. and wife Joyce McIntire of Winslow, Maine, Charles M. and wife Pat McIntire of West Lebanon, Maine, Neil E. and wife Pat McIntire of Keene, NH, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son: Robert E. McIntire, also 2 brothers: Robert McKeagney and George McKeagney.
A private graveside service was held at Milton Mills Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to: Wentworth Home, 795 Central Avenue, Dover, NH 03820. Arrangements by Peaslee Funeral Home.
