Margaret Marie "Red" Campbell, age 87, of Ridge Road in Farmington, died May 22, 2015 at the Rochester Manor.
Born June 29, 1927 and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Michael and Mary (DiStefeno) DiBaro, she moved to New Hampshire 68 years ago and had resided in the Wakefield and Farmington area.
In earlier years, she was a shoeworker at local shoe factories. Red also had been a restaurant owner in the local area, including the former Sunrise Lake Restaurant.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Widow of the late Wilfred J. Campbell, she is survived by their 6 children, sons: Wilfred "Bill" Campbell, Bruce Campbell, Keith and wife Nikkie Campbell, Daniel Campbell, daughters: Linda and husband Keith Blaisdell, Susan and husband Lee Durrance, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, a brother: Michael DiBaro, 5 sisters: Mikki Xanders, Joyce McLeod, Twinnie Entwistle, Donna Richie and Dolly Osterguard, also numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington with Fr. Robert F. Cole, officiating.
