Margaret K. (Lamson) Koban age 93, of Wolfeboro, NH and formerly of Thomaston, CT passed away November 5, 2022, after a brief illness.

Margaret "Peggy" was born in Albany, NY on June 21, 1929, the daughter of Edwin and Ethel Anderson of Blandford, MA. Peggy attended high school in Westfield, MA. Before receiving a bachelor's degree from Skidmore College, she began her 45-year teaching in Thomaston where she met her future husband, Lucas Pasquariello. Peg continued her education at Central Connecticut State College and received her master's degree in 1974. She then moved into the Waterbury, CT school system, where she continued to teach third grade until her retirement in 1993.

Two of Peg's passions were her love of animals and travel. For the first half of her life an English Bulldog was always at her side, and later Labs. She traveled extensively throughout Europe and Great Britain with husband Luke until he passed in 1991. She later married Anthony Koban and they continued traveling until their late eighties.

She is preceded in death by husbands Luke in 1991 and Anthony in 2022. Peg is survived by son Chip Pasquariello and his wife Laura, grandson Thomas Pasquariello and granddaughter in law Carli.

There will be a private memorial in the spring at the family cemetery in Blandford, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to any ASPCA.
