Marcus H. Brewer, age 86, of Jug Hill Road in Milton Mills, died May 25, 2018 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born October 25, 1931 in Royalston, Massachusetts, son of Leslie S. and Harriett E. (Whitman) Brewer, he also resided in Wolfeboro, NH and lived in Milton Mills, NH since 1954.

A United States Army Veteran serving his country as a mechanic in the Korean War, he was a self employed Carpenter and Home Builder.

Marcus was known to all as a kind hearted man and always ready with a good joke. He often remarked if he ever had the means he would have loved to build homes for those in need. After his retirement, Marcus stayed in constant motion, working in his garden and enjoying things all mechanical.

Survived by his wife of 66 years Bertha L. (Geary) Brewer of Milton Mills, and their children, son: Marvin H. Brewer of Milton Mills, and 3 daughters: Bonnie L. Russell of Rochester, Tammie L. Clark of South Berwick, Maine and Debbie A. Dahn of Richmond, VA, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Francis Crosier of Mass. and Geneva McPherson of Rochester, also several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, with a calling hour prior to the service from 9am to 10am. Interment will follow at Milton Mills Cemetery. To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
