Marcie Elizabeth Garland, age 95, a longtime resident of Farmington, NH, passed away, peacefully, November 11, 2021 at her son's home in W. Lebanon, Maine.

Born November 18, 1925 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, daughter of Leonard D. Mercer, Sr. & Annie (Dawe) Mercer, she was raised there, a graduate of Cambridge High & Latin School.  On May 8, 1948, she married Walter M. Garland, Jr. and they resided in Farmington, NH for many years.  Most recently she resided in Middleton, NH with her son.

Marcie was a loving homemaker and mother.  BINGO was her passion, also planning and playing card games with the family regularly and breakfast on Sunday at Kelley's Country Kitchen in Farmington with her family.

Widow of Water M. Garland, Jr., who died thirty years ago, she is survived by their 5 sons: Walter M. Garland, III and wife Thayer, Wayne D. Garland & his late wife Cheryl Petroni, William P. Garland & wife Waneta, Wendall R. "Bobby" Garland & wife Karen, Wichard "Dickie" Pollard & Lillian, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, her sister Nancy Cohen, also many Nieces & Nephews. Predeceased by her son Warren M. Garland & brother Leonard D. Mercer, Jr.
