Marcia C. (Deschambeault) Flannery, age 65, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015, after losing her courageous battle with IPF, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, where she had been waiting for a lung transplant.
She was born February 16, 1950 in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Paul J. and Alice E. (Wentworth) Deschambeault and grew up in East Conway, NH.
Marcia was an insurance agent for 30 years in Rochester, NH and Fryeburg, Maine.
Most recently, she had been residing in Middleton, NH with her son David and wife Carey Valladares and her three grandchildren: Alyssa, Austin and Adam.
Marcia was the mother of one and grandmother to three. She loved to watch her grandchildren and their friends play any sport they participated in.
She was friend to many. And many will miss her frequent "likes" and "comments" on Facebook.
Even as sick as she was, Marcia always made those around her smile with her own infectious smile.
Survived by her son: David A. and his wife Carey A. Valladares, 3 grandchildren: Alyssa C. Valladares, Austin J. Valladares and Adam D. Valladares, sister: Beth McMullen, brother: Jim Deschambeault, nieces and nephews: Kate McMullen-Yanez and husband Gus, Willie McMullen, Andy McMullen and wife Christina, Chad Deschambeault and Whitney Antonelli, Jodi Deschambeault, Caitlin Butler, also several grand nieces and nephews, cousins and her dog "Pixie".
We want to give special thanks to her sister Beth, who was there to support Marcia through the past several months, without Beth's love and support, Marcia's battle would have been even more difficult, a very special sister indeed.
A Celebration of Life in Marcia's memory will take place on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 2:00pm in the new Expo Center at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds in Fryeburg, Maine. All are welcome to attend.
